I think you could have gotten away with requesting 10k. Synchrony Bank is more of a 3x your limit bank rather than a fixed amount every so often. That card has a 10k limit for online requests though.

Swing for the fences next time. I went from 2k to the current 8k first time around. The Button has since disappeared for me but it'll be back.
