DW approved for ebay mastercard......? Problems

I'm in the garden til June....my wife was looking for a new CC and applied for the ebay mc.........she was approved for 5k and was planning to add me as an AU but wasn't able to during the app process.....can she do this later? Also it looks like she will have to use Pay Pal to make payments on this card . If this is true she will probably cancel the card....anybody know if you can pay the card thru GECRB who is the issuer

Congrats to your DW! I am sure if you call them , they can add you to the card

Yes, you can be added later. DW can pay though her bank's bill pay or the old fashioned way..mail them a check

Congrats to DW! I make payments from my bank to PayPal with no issues but billpay and snail mail is always an option. Also you can be added at any time I'm sure. Basically the Ebay card and PayPal card are one and the same you can't have both. Thanks for sharing.

Wife had some pblms with PayPal Yrs ago. Took over 7 days for something to post.....not really sure what happened. Don't really understand this arrangement myself...guess she or we will be using banks bill pay for this account.

I had a similar problem when I used my bank account for backup spending (no credit card or smart connect) Once I got a credit card and then smartconnect for backup. My payments to seller and my payments for my bills went smoothly. I really like the buyer protection using paypal! I would have been out the purchases without it.

Congratz to DW first off. But I'd say that the payment process through Paypal is highly different when paying onto the Ebay/Extras MC... I too had problems with Paypal recent years back but I still gave it a shot its a smooth process...

guess we will try Paypal and use bank's bill pay for back up.........don't want to get a late payment now.......wife has NEVER had one and if I would be the cause of her first she would surely kill me....LOL
