Capital 1 Luv In Credit Steps!!

Congrats all on the increases! I've had my Cap 1 Platinum since early Dec. (credit steps at $300) decided to take it and shut up. After reading through the forums and felt froggy so I jumped on the luv button and was slapped down. Called CSP and basically told to wait 6 mos. At the same time was typing a letter to the EO but after seeing CSP note for request the next day stating "the account was too new" I forgot it and decided to wait.

Over a week later got a call today from a nice guy from the EO office stating it was in regards to my cli requests for more, took additional info, ask if I'd take a lesser amt. (ask for 2k) and told me it was going to manual review and that he would call me back with a decision before weeks end. My basis was my income, increase scores and due to work travel, would like to book travel and then get company reimbursement instead of going through work and waiting and having them book.

Will wait patiently for the response but not looking for any luv so soon.

Update 2/24:

Nice guy called back Fri. and asked that I send...I thought he said last 3 paystubs but later realized he'd stated '3 mos', oh well. Logged in just now and see a little added Luv, not the amt. requested but $300 add'l - $600 today after almost 3 mos with the card. Woot Woot!!

Update #2 2/24: The Nice Guy called back to inform me of the increase. I mentioned about the 3 paystubs instead of 3 mos as they'd requested and he told me to still send them and he will see if they can reopen the request. Will see if that works for another little boost but am ok with the 2X.

Thanks ALL I truly have learned so much from you guys and the support on the forum is out of sight! I'm wondering if I will see a score boost with the add'l cl or if this is something I will see over time? Thanks again!
