BECU Credit card and line of credit approved!

Applied for membership and apped for CC last Friday. Approved $19K for CC. Apped a few minutes ago for LOC. Asked for $15k and approved for $15K.

DP's 18 inqs, TU 792 last checked. 80 plus accounts reporting opened and closed. TCL north of $800K...lost count and too lazy to figure it out. This is probably the easiest CU I've dealt with.That's saying alot for someone that's a member of at least 20 banking institutions. lol

Wish they used the same pull. But not going to happen. 2nd pull in less than a week for them.

Still have a few more in the pipeline. Just waiting for yea or nays! Redstone locked me out of my account right after sending a transfer to the accounts and in the middle of a CC app. Still pissed! They want my first new born son as payment. lmao

Apparently the fraud department feels no need to work, even if it's not a holiday.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get your member number? I applied around Thanksgiving, went pending. Received email welcoming me December 2nd. Called last week to see about getting online access, was told you create an account when you sign up (wasn't given that option). Guess I'll have to wait for first statement even though I was never asked how I'd like to fund my account (I have an ATM card that says I have to activate and set pin online!

When you applied for membership. You should have had documents pop up for you to save to your computer, towards the end of the application process. One of those had the membership number on it. As well as your account numbers and routing number.

@Gmood getting it done!! 😀 Big congrats on getting in with this seemingly easy peasy (at least for us ones with big credit bank rolls) 😂 CU. I am very jelly on this one. Can't seem to get in without sending in a snail mail app or in person signature card. BECU, Langley, Regions Bank and the good ole BB&T sp train are my biggest credit regrets this year as they are geo-restrict for me 😏 but also easy credit gainers. Oh well. This is life.😆 Again huge congrats on getting it in before the year ends!!

Man that sucks! How long ago did you try BECU.
I think BECU woke up and decided they wanted to compete with the other large CUs in the country.
Coming in at #4 they seem to be gaining some ground! Only CUs larger are Navy, State Employee CU and Penfed.

@Gmood I have been trying off and on for the past 3 months trying to get past the verification screen. Had chexsystems on ice so lifted that and reapplied. Still get the can't verify identity reason. Even tried various browsers and still same result. Think I will just snail mail in the app and if and hope they are still being generous enough to accept by then.

I figured my Chex would have blown up by now.😂

I've added 4 different CU/ bank accounts in the last 5 days.

All are good except for Redstone CU. Which has me on ice with verification crap.

Plus they HP'd my EX. Thought it would be a SP. Oh well. Lol

Btw: I was turned down by BECU a couple of months back. I don't remember the particulars. I have a clean profile, decent (5+) AAoA, and mid 700 Fico scores. Tread carefully, folks.
