Read an approval post last week that documented a bumpy membership approval process.

Took up the challenge and apped for membership. Took a full week for acceptance.

I apped for the 2% card as soon as membership was approved.

Now we wait........

i don't anticipate an approval though

Update-Approved!

recieved a call from a nice lady who was gathering info for the loan officer.

Asked a few questions about my report and what and why did I want the card.

also asked for the credit line I wanted.

I asked for a 25k line.

They then offered a chance at a refi on an auto loan.

Requested POI and I sent it last night.

tonight I received a 10k approval (8.9%) for the platinum instead of the signature.

i think it's a relationship thing with the Signature.

note: they pulled Equifax which is hit and miss on whether it actually works.

langley can't seem to pull it right now

another update. STIIILLL working on that auto refi.
was called on 2.13 and told it was approved. 11 day turn around....maybe

Received an email on 2.14 saying my 2016 Explorer was only worth 1/2 of owed amount so couldn't complete.
I don't own an explorer. I have a 2018 Ram 2500.
I even sent them a screen shot of the loan with the VIN and everything!

Today I received another email apologizing and could I resend ANOTHER 10 day payoff and all of the particulars again.

i didn't even ask for this loan. They offered!

Went into my EECU today for a new debit card and also asked for a CLI on that card.

Left with a 15k CLI AND an unsolicited refi on the truck.

psst. Took only 20 minutes

I'd seen a thread on here about it somewhere, but then I figured the whole membership thing might be a little dicey. So, I abandoned the idea 😆

How did you apply for it? Online? Phone? Email? Fax?

I'm still waiting for my card. Pretty sure it's coming by Old Pony Express at this point. Or literal Snail Mail.

Thank you @Finstar . Approvals are few and far between now.

I'm sure 3-6 months of gardening would help that, but.......
