Cap1, Citi DC and NFCU approvals!!

Hello y'all!

Ive been a ghost on this site for about 2 months and have I learned ALOT from you financially savvy folks! Anyhoo, after absorbing all the great info here, I decided to bite the bullet and apply for some cc's.

Cap1 Venture One was the first app, instant approval, cl 1k, 1/3/20, had my family set me up with NFCU, applied 4 days after opening a saving acct, cL 700 (cash rewards)(2/12/20) Acctually applied for citi (1/30/20) before NFCU, got the 7 to 10 days review message. Called and was told they sent a letter, to call back with the code in the letter🤷🏾‍♀️. Got the letter, they needed to verify my identity (spouse has a citi AA account, cl 17k, I'm an AU), and they wanted me to call them back from the phone number listed on the AA account. Called them back from that number, approved 3500 for the DC!

now my stats before the cc apps:

TU 670 (FICO 8)

EX 656 (FICO 8)

EQ 651 (FICO 8)

3 baddies from 2015 (sl fed loan, 120 days)

75%uti on citiAA card, on which I'm an AU (working on paying that down), AoAA 12 yrs currently. Besides a mortgage taken out 2018, no other loans.

cant wait to see where this credit journey takes me with ya'll "schooling" me!
