Obviously everyone has been talking about NFCU! Decided to open a Checking & Savings account a few hours ago. Was scared to apply for a card over the phone (even though the Rep was super awesome) Decided to check out the site about an hour later & said screw it, applied for Cash Rewards! Instant approval for a SL$8,600 with 11.15APR!! Considering my other real card is only a SL$1,500!

Pulled TU & my score F8 746 and F9 706

Super thin file

Super excited it's a VISA Sig!! Wouldn't even have thought about it if it wasn't for this forum! Not applying anymore places & going to garden to get my age up & go back to reading the forums 😁

Mark your calendar for 91 days from approval and three statements. Ask for a credit limit increase (it's been a Equifax soft pull lately), or, if you want, apply for another card. The 2nd cards limit is usually crazy high. Good luck!

Gearing up for that 3rd one, which is why I now have checking, savings, 2 certificates, and an SSL at $3010 paid down to 8%. You're next.
