BB&T Bright! FINALLY!

After many months of discouragement, reading about all the SP approvals and not receiving one myself, I have been approved!

Kind of randomly checked the prequal page today. BOOM! Prequalified for the "holy trinity" of BB&T. The Cash Rewards card was tempting with 0% for 12mo. I decided to go with the 0% for 15mo Bright card instead. SL of $2k which is....ok 😏.

I have been banking with BBT for several months now. I have no idea if that has anything to do with the approval, as I have read that several have been approved with no prior relationship.

Anyone have an idea when I could try for the Cash Rewards?

Congrats!

I believe most people could get two BB&T cards back to back if they are still showing in preapprovals after the first approval. Though YMMV and DPs from this are from 8ish months ago when it was flavor of the month.

The fact you bank with them would keep me on egg shells my friend. but I wouldn't be scared 4-6 months from now if you still are showing preapprovals.

BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!! I got 2 credit cards myself recently the Cash and Bright cards. No hard pull at all. Was approved for all 3 cards but only jumped on 2 of them. Warning.....will take about 2 weeks before you recevie your cards. They actually reported my accounts to my credit report before I actually had the card in hand.

There is a guy who posted on here last week with like 13 BB&T cards!!!!!!!! lol So you can get as many as you want.

Congrats You!!!!! Glad you're back and Welcome aboard the Crazy Train. I don't get a pre-qual any earlier than 45 days. Some said they do sooner but it's at least 45 for me. You can try anytime you like though. Good Luck on the next round
