Discover CLI - Approved

Hi I am being approved for $1500. This is my first CLI since I opened the account.

My FICO so far doesn't change so much.

713 TU and 720 EQ since Mar 05, 2020 which I just checked. I have balance utilization of 28% before the CLI and now down to .25. Will try to pay it down to 15% and CLI again next month. Is it possible to CLI every month? Thank you.

Thank you! Planning to apply for PenFed once credit bureaus update my latest payments if they update them. I am planning to apply for SunTrust too. So far I am getting a lot of weird notifications by Capital One by I doubt they will approve me for anything.

Not really look at something really big. Just hoping it could at least pass $15000 so that my utilization will remain low.

How long have you had the card? If you have less than a year you are probably still in 1st year promo so will need to wait abit. You can smash everyday if you like.

I just talked to them trying to get another 0% offer but have to wait 6 months since they just lowered my ap . If i can get one more cli i can combine limits they confirmed but i need to get a cli to start process. Eventually my smash a day will become holiday

It has been more than a year. I didn't realized at first my APR has gone up. The montly payment was automatically deducted but the high APR offset my principal. Originally I want to put a request to reduce the APR but there is no option online so instead I tried the CLI. I guess I have to call them for the APR reduction.

Two month I paid off over $2500 and last month $350. Next month it would be $200 and $500 monthly in next 4 months. I had over $5900 balance two months ago. My balance was due to my balance transfer.

Yes give them a quick call. Most are working from home but i only waited like 2 minutes. Weird you say your apr actually went up? Of note you almost will never see a spot to lower apr from any creditor. Its one of those things that if you dont call or ask , you wont get

You might want to take them up on another 0% for 12 months on new purchases if they offer it to you... vs the perm APR reduction...

Just a thought.. might want to mention it to them if your interested... Not sure how universal but heard also theres a 6mo 0% offer supposedly if your not eligible for the 12 yet...

True. It was 0% but after the intro APR ended it has gone up to 23.99% Wheww! Scary. Wasted few hundred dollars paying off interest each month because of my neglect.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will ask them on that too. Like most people I am teleworking from home right now so it is easier to making phone calls. It was mandatory for everybody at the base to work from home at least 2 weeks until being called back.
