American Express CLI finally?

I've been with American Express for a couple years now, and have diligently been asking for CLI's every so often on my BCE. Lo & Behold, late last month they finally said yes to my late night window croonings!

Got a $9900 cli out of nowhere, which was rather surprising, considering I all but stopped using the card about 6 months ago as well as with the craziness that is happening right now. I figured banks would be on the more cautious side with cli's, especially with cards that havent been seeing any use. It's too bad I can't utilize a nice BT with this card, but I'll take a cli anyday with a smile. Thanks American Express!

Guess I should start using the card again, lol.

No, I have been requesting CLI's for awhile now, but always got denied. This was an out of the blue approval after requesting for the Nth time though. I thought it had burned a hard pull, but looking back I don't see any hp, so even better.

My SL was 10500. So now it's 20,400. \o/

Edit: LOL, was just looking at my accounts to make sure I had the info correct, and I noticed NFCU gave me a $3k auto CLI on my Platinum today!

Congrats! No soup for me! My FS is at 50k and that is as high as Navy wants to go. I also had a GO Rewards card 30+ k that I recently closed due to non usage.
