New Approvals and CLI during COVID-19

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is in good health and their spirits are still high! It has been a couple months since my last post. I figured I would update everyone with what credit I have been able to obtain during this COVID-19 mess

Experian FICO - 682/6INQ/1.5 AAOA

TU FICO - 675/8INQ/1.5AAOA

EQ FICO - 672/5INQ/1.5AAOA

PNC Cash Rewards - I have had a bank account with them for probably the last 5 years, applied and was actually given problems getting it approved. They made me send over SSA form to prove my SSN was mine and it took several days but eventually I was approved for 5k they pulled Experian

Paypal CB - They have sent me emails for years trying to get me to apply for this card and I have been denied several times. But I figured I would give it another go. Instant approval 1500$ Pulled TU

Comenity/RH - I have a fraud alert on my credit so this one required a bit of time but once I mailed in the documents requested they approved me for 15k! This is my first card with comenity. They pulled EQ

CLI - CB2/Sync its been at 1600 for almost a year at this point. I submitted a CLI for 10k but was countered with 5k. I was not disappointed.

CLI - AMEX Delta Plat - This one completely shocked me as we just got a CLI in January and the card was not zeroed out. It was actually about 57% utilized. They increased it from 33k to 35.5k

Still for the life of me Sync will not raise my 150$ amazon limit. I spend over 1k on amazon every month. Half of it can't go on the card becasue of my limit. I emailed the CEO and got a call from their assistant who told me there is nothing they can do even after explaining, and providing proof of my spending going to other lenders. She told me to get stiffed. LOL

Congrats on your approvals. The RH one definitely seems like you might need more if you plan on actually being able to buy something.

The wife and me are on the hunt for a new couch. Quarantine wrecked our current one. She's wanted RH since we've been together, so I finally caved and said if we get it it's going on their card, we get to use 50% of whatever limit they give. So she gets to work with 5k haha!

That Amex CLI is surprising -- maybe an Amex pro will come along and explain the rationale?

That is hard to believe that Synchrony will not increase your credit line thay are pretty easy to get increase from. Did thay give you a reason for not granting cli's on your account. I would still push it with the CEO office lot of operations like banks get so big that thay live and die by computer. If Amex will increase your credit line then is no reason that Synchrony won't do it for you. Did some thing happen with your realitonship between you and Synchrony bank.

Nothing at all! Like I said in my post, I was approved for 5k increase on my CB2/Sync card and a brand new PayPal CB/Sync for 1500$ it truly boggles my mind. The reasons they gave me were 3 different things. I don't remember exactly, but two of them completely contradicted each other

If you have never been late and you have other cards in good standing with Synchrony bank then I would write letter to the CEO and spell the whole thing out. I have found credit solutions to be pretty good. I would not let this one drop, if some one told me nothing we can do I am the kind of person would just be pushing on it. As I said before most large operation live and die by ai computer
