Navy Federal!! Hard work and patience pays off!!

So I've been reading tons of posts here on the forums and decided to share my story since I've gotten so much courage from other's here!! So I opened a navy federal nrewards secured card back in 2017 ($500 limit and credit score in the very low 500's) did everything right anticipating the card graduating by the 13th statement cut and it didn't and I was deflated. Nevertheless, I worked on the big picture (improving my credit score, paid off collections, etc) and continued hoping that one day the card would graduate. Fast forward to 2020 (yes it took 3 years) my card graduated and the new limit was now $2,000 (score low to mid 600's). I got the new card and activated it and on the day I activated it I called and did a product change to the more rewards Amex and the process was seamless. I decided to take a leap of faith and apply for the cash rewards card two days later and got approved!! The best part is that my limit for that card is $25,000 and a 9.65% APR. I'm so excited!! My hard work and patience paid off!! Just wanted to let someone out there reading these to know that you can do it too!!

Congratulations. 25k will most definitely lower your UTI. Other lenders will follow suit to give you prime cards.
