WSV (SP) Approval $5000 SL!! Update: AKC Visa Denied!

Hey there,

Me and Comenity Bank have had a long but strained relationship.

Got JCrew in a SCT and built that up from $300 SL to $27.9k before they gave me the boot earlier this year. Not sure if I should be poking this bear or not. But the prospect of getting another growth potential visa and actually shopping at this place persuaded me to go this route.

This one was sorta of a no-brainer as I was browsing the site for a cooking themometer of all things. Got the pop up for preapproval filled out the info and got a 2 week letter notice. Didn't know what to make of that so waited on the letter, stated they needed additional information to complete the application. Spoke to a very nice specialist who aked the typical Dob, Ssn , Addy and a small serious of verification questions on my CR and wholla! Congraulated me on my approval!. Looks to be a SP as I have not recieved an alert on any CR.

Also needed a replacement for my carecredit (closed by Sync) So Applied for that AKC Visa and got an EXP pull.immeditely. Said they would review and send me notice of the decision within 7-10 business days. I would prefer a better apr and a visa over higher apr and the limitations of the care credit card. So we will see what happens.

How right you are. Both Comenity and Synchrony have been on the warpath lately.

As long as you use their cards consistently, everything seems to be fine. My Wayfair

has grown from $700 to $6550 in 1 year, but I make a point to buy something every

few months. Just knickknacks around the house and such. But if you don't, then

Comenity does their Robin Hood routine. They steal from the rich (high CLs with

little to no activity) and give to the poor (lower CLs with more activity). So far I've

been lucky (knock on wood!) but I'm growing my portfolio just like you just in case.

Congrats on your WS visa have card as well at 22k currently used some at WS and some for BT currently nothing on it and recently was approved for the AKC at 15k.. Same interest it appears

Playing it a bit risky poking comenity for two cards in a short time though, hopefully all works out for you

@CreditCuriosity Thanks buddy! Yeah I know I am living a little on the wild side as far a Comenity and their track record. Hopefully I can pull that AKC app through and lay waaaaay low off the radar! 😆😂

I think the Jcrew of 29k is funny since I have mine at 5k and they told me in a letter that 5k is all they allow on that card. I have the Williams Sonoma Visa and it's a good card $25 for your birthday each year, one thing to do is if you don't get an E-Mail for the $25 or it on your statement call them (Comenity) up and ask for the number I did not get mine and they said they "sent an E-Mail and my E-Mail does not work" it's thier on your account within days of your birthday mount start.
