Military Star Card Approval

DPs at the bottom. Discharged from my Chap 7 BK this past February. Veterans can get the Star Card ( I had forgotten about it). Had one of these previously from 2010-2015 with no lates ever. Approved for $4,450. Highest limit since my DC. I doubt I'll use it much but it'll defenitely help with utilization. Pulled EX.

Cards since DC - Merrick $1,000, Credit One $700

Car loan through Ally last month. (car was totalled, so I had to replace it)

Congrats on your approval! I'm a veteran too but what's the point of getting the cars if we can't shop at the PX anymore? Or can we?

@abbafan you can shop at the PX online as a veteran and you can use your DD214 to get on a military installation.

@Anonymous Yes! It's a great benefit... @nuohlac pointed out to me the other day that it can be used at the Commissary as well these days among other things of which I wasn't aware. Lots of great deals to be had.

As a honorably discharged veteran you can access the exchanges online at www.Shopmyexchange.com or www.mynavyexchange.com all you have to do is go there register for the benefit and verify yourself.

Additionally, if you are a VHIC (Veterans Healthcare Identification Card) holder you can access the installations and all of their facilities other than gyms, pools, chow halls and night clubs. The restaurants are okay. To gain access you just go up and register yourself like you would a visitor at the main gate's visitor center and they run a DL check then your on base driving pass is validated until the expiration date on your VHIC.
