NFCU GO REWARDS INSANE!!!

This is still hot I just got approved for the Go rewards card from NFCU!!! <img src="" height="50"><br>

A few days ago I posted something related to my nfcu relationship and what were the odds of getting approve for a second card. FYI I hold a secured card with NFCU that was opened on feb 2020 and this card has not graduated yet. After reading some posts and learning how NFCU works and all the recommendations I decided to give it a try. I wanted to make sure NFCU liked me, so even though I bank with them since DEC19 Checking and Savings I decided to open an Easy Certificate about 4 days ago. I put in about $2100 on the Cert they only allow you up to $3000 max. I have a couple of late payments back from 2019 and 3 COs that were paid in full oct19, keep in mind that I still have a CC from AACU that was closed to late payments but still hold a balance of $10,000. This acount was my main concern holding a balance so high. Since OCT19 I became current on all my accounts and decided to work hard on my credit. I hold a DIS-2000 Cap1-750 DFCU-500 Express-250 VicSCRT-500 and WAYfair-750 all this accounts were open early 2020. I have to say I'm proud of myself coming from a 485 score back in OCT 2019 to a 680. I wanted to go for the More Rewards AMEX card, but I was denied back on april with Amex so I tried to play safe. Thanks to all the members that provide great information on this forum. I'm still speechless NFCU is the king of kings be patience and treat them well.

Congrats @Anonymous that's a very SL. You can send them a message to PC to More Rewards card if you want. I did play it safe and apped for the Go Rewards then PC'ed to More Rewards a month later.

Is a CD for a period of 12 months they give you 3.4% interest compounded monthly and a 3.5% APY. The good thing is that you could start with a min of $50 and bring it up to a max of $3000.00 Now the best thing NFCU has is that you could deposit up to 5 times every month till you max out. Other major banks require a minimun 5000 and there interest goes really low for about 0.20%.

My personal recommendation with NFCU -- - -OPEN CHECKING AND SAVINGS

-SETUP DIRECT DEPOSIT THROUGH THEM

-APPLY FOR A SECURED CARD ( wait at least 4 months of statement) ALWAYS PIF

-OPEN AN EASY CERTIFICATE

THEN APPLY FOR A UNSECURED CARD
