Lowe’s CLI tonight :)

We are all well aware of the recent tendencies of Synchrony lately, but I wanted to share some good news.

I haven't asked for or gotten a CLI on my Lowe's card since October. I've used it steadily but somewhat sparingly. However in the last couple months I've ramped up spend on indoor and outdoor plants (probably $250-300 worth), a new washer and dryer ($1700), and a purchase of an AC unit, plumbing supplies, some paint, and other miscellanea for at least another $700-800, on top of household goods and various other stuff.

Decided to roll the dice ten minutes ago and got an instant increase via luv button from $12,000 up to $17,000.

I believe the heavier spending and lots of payments were a factor as well as my VS4.0 score in my account being solidly above 700 for awhile now.

Glad to report that with all of the reductions and closures, they are still willing to extend credit as well.

Congratulations on the credit limit increase synchrony does get a bad rap but they've been really good to me

Thank you - that was definitely an exciting approval. I did ask for the $17k right up front. Lol I did go back in later and ask for $25k but they shot it down. That's perfectly fine - I have a lot of spend coming up this summer on building my backyard into a retreat, adding a shed, and moving my washer and dryer from the basement to the first floor. If they want to go the old route as @gdale6 said, I'll hopefully be in line for $25,000 by fall 👍

I closed on my house yesterday, got home and applied with Lowes. My VS are hovering around 690-700, and they gave me a $500 SL. I called immediately after, and they denied me the recon.

I'll go ahead and put some heavy spend on it over the next few months and try again at the 3rd statement'ish. That sounds about right with Lowes???
