Home Depot $4K approval at self checkout

Well, I was in Home Depot today buying a mailbox post and some Sakrete among a cart full of impulse buys. I was supposed to be gardening, but the "Save $100 on today's purchase" button at the self checkout suckered me in. Couldn't have been easier. Type in your SSN, DL#, email & phone number. Instant approval for $4k. Glad to have this for when they get freezers back in stock.

Scores just recently over 700 on all 3. Glad to be back in with Citi, but I don't trust them. Chase and Citi balance chasing me down was what caused my last credit downfall. I had a Home Depot card with $3250 limit in good standing showing closed by credit grantor that still shows on my credit reports, but it seems like it was from a different bank other than Citi back then if I recall. (2007ish)

Took a hard on EX. 9 INQ on EX, but all over 9 months old. Many new accounts.

Garden now. I must garden now. Grow the cards.

Anyone know if you can get a second Home Depot card and then combine them later on down the line? I prequalify for a second card according to the site. I'm not going to go for it at least for now, but I would be tempted to later on if a future option to combine it with my existing card was a possibility.
