Reached my 91/3 with NFCU Cash Rewards on 2/12/20...Decided to app for a 2nd card...Applied for the More Rewards and was instantly approved for 20,000!! Ecstatic & no one to gloat too...Kept reading the forum(everything NFCU..lol). Equipped with more knowledge decided to push the love button on my NFCU Cash Rewards... Asked for 6,900 increase ...was countered with 6,000 making my new limit 19,100!! Still Ecstatic!...NFCU is the bomb! I've never received so much trust from an institution.. Been banking with Georgia's Own and Bank Of America for years and never seen the love like this...((never established credit though.. Paid cash for everything)))...

Looking to continue to build my credit profile, credit mix..(( Though I appreciate my gracious limits with NFCU, lil ole me may never see this kinda love)).. I thought I should app for another card outside of NFCU that may give me a decent limit.. So it could grow and mature with my New More Rewards....

Been receiving offers in the mail from Discover It.. Decided to read up on it in the forum...Equipped with knowledge and a feeling of hope.. I did the prequilify... Was Prequilifed for the Chrome and Discover It.. Went for Discover It...But like others on the forum(no instant answer) I Had to submit verification ( DL and SS)..still no answer... Several minutes later, received a text to contact them..call or contact them through the message chat..(didn't really feel like talking,was in bed trying to be discrete..Lol, appreciated the message chat option) .. After more verification..(my DOB) . I was approved for a 5,000 limit!!!

Im on the build and have been doing well managing.. I just can't thank this forum enough!! So many smart and knowledgeable people who don't mind sharing their experiences!! The advice and knowledgeable here is unmatched!! I've been teaching my family and friends the things I've learned here!! I'm so blessed to be here!! Thank you.

@MsSWS Do you remember who DISCOVER IT pulled for your application!? I want to possibly apply with them after asking for a CLI and 2nd card with Navy but EQ is my lowest score so it worries me it will be them and then a no since it is the lowest?!

@Girlzilla88 Discover pulled EQ for me back in March. I've read other posters report EX being pulled. Think it's hard to say with them.
