Bloomies First CLI UPDATE

My DS got her Bloomies Amex in the store at the end of June with a CL of $3200. Second statement cut yesterday and had to call in for CLI request this morning. Her reports are all locked but she asked if it was a SP or HP and rep said they wouldn't need to do a HP. She went for TCL of $7K, countered with $5200 so she got a $2K increase. She is very happy since she just got her first Macy's increase this month as well.

Just as an additional DP; she put some spend on the card when she got it and PIF before the cut. Zero spend in month two.

UPDATE: 09/27 DS tried for a Bloomies Amex CLI on day 31 for a TCL of $8500, countered $8200. $3k increase. No spend on the card ìn month three. So June SL $3200 < Aug $5200 < Sept $8200. Aloha all! 😊

@gdale6 , @CreditAggie , @mrcraft Mahalo and I will tell her!! Thanks to you guys and the amazing DP's you all share!

Now that DS is having some nice DSNB success, I'm really feelin' the peer pressure to app for Macy's/Bloomies (thanks @GApeachy...thanks a lot sistah lol)!! It kinda makes sense even though I would only put $25 bucks or so on Macy's each month and Bloomie's is way out of my spend league so it would see practically zero use. It would be fun to watch 'em grow (something other than these 'garden' veggies which honestly aren't that fun at all). Yikes, decisions...decisions...ugh peers!!!!!!

If you decide to apply @Anonymous , remember that if you go for the AMEX, you'll likely get a better SL if you go in store versus online. I don't know if the regular store card has the some DP.

I've had my Macy's store card forever....it had been at $5000 also forever....it wasn't until I started reading all this and seeing @M_Smart007 posts that I started hitting the CLI button online. Had always seen it, always thought it would be a HP so I avoided it. In the last 60 days I've gone from $5000 to $17,500 (all with SP) and I'm already counting down to the next 31 day cycle next month. The CLI button is already on their site, taunting me to click it! LOL!

Congrats to DS. She is certainly on the quick growth path on Bloomies and Macy's.

Bloomies at The Mall at Short Hills was my longest relationship. Then the neon lights and showboys in Vegas called! LOL!! 😂

@Anonymous Yay for Sis! I hope she can continue to grow that card like dp's have shown it to do. I call it a "Project Card"....watching it grow; hoping it grows. Fingers, toes, & eyes crossed for ds!

Lol, don't be a "Jelly" bean....ignore the peer pressure I'm like you, I'd choose Macy's over Bloomie's as well. $$$$$

I do find deals on Bloomie's so I don't regret getting this card but Macy's will see me more than Bloomie's as far as online shopping. Aloha-hootie-hoot-hoo!

Walmart will see me more than those two combined (same brands; not the same prices.....ie. wacoal, clark's, you name it)
