PEN FED GOLD APPROVAL!!

Long time lurker of these boards, and I've recently been really trying to clean up my credit and get rid of some of my lower limit/annual fee cards. I decided to join Pen Fed a few weeks ago per all the recommendations on MyFICO. Today I got up the courage to apply for their PenFed Gold Card. Got instant approval for $3500 with 15.99% APR.

DP's: EQ: 676 TU: 687 EX: 679

Util: 6% AAOA: 1 year 10 months

1 Charge Off that hasn't been paid from 2015 (trying to pay this but can't get in touch with who to pay!! - long story will post about it sometime.) All other Payment history 100%.

INQ: 7/12 & 10/24

I remember being denied so many times for credit in the past so to be instantly approved is so exciting to me. I will use it wisely and pay off every month to hopefully see it grow with my scores! Just want to say how incredibly helpful these forums are. I went from a 545 2 years ago to a 633 at the beginning of the year to 670's-680's now. My goal is that coveted 740+. To the garden I go...
