First off...Congratulations!!!!!! I have been thinking about the Amex as we discussed and I am thinking that Citi may be in an extra giving mood on Macy's behalf once the holiday shopping starts. Maybe I'll get lucky on Black Friday? If there is a Black Friday this year.

Was going to ask you...we've chatted on here that the max limit on these cards is $25,000 and I hit that this month...but the Request Increase button is still visible...Hmmm? Think it can go higher than $25,000 or is it a fluke? Do you see the same on yours? I'm within 31 days from my last CLI so I haven't touched it yet...wondering what it may say. Thoughts?

@cashorcharge, Black Friday might be "Mask Friday"

As far as going above $25K on Macy's, It is possible, but you will be required to provide "POI"

Proof of Income. I think they will also pull your credit report to do so?

Both of My Macy's cards are at $25K .. and I am probably going to leave them at that.

Gotcha! Getting a HP and handing over POI for a Store Card is pretty pointless. Good advice...Thanks!

And yep...Mask Friday for sure...it'll certainly be different this year. I don't ever get up at crazy hours for ridiculous deals and I am not a "wait in line for a deal" kind of person...to be honest...when I shop on BF, I tend to shop for myself too! LOL!

It will be very different for sure. Thinking I'll go find a quiet department...like...Luggage or China/Flatware...and apply for the AmEx!
