NFCU SSL & Discover it approvals

Yesterday I was approved for a $5k NFCU SSL and a Discover it with a $5k SL, raising my total CL from $13k to $23k.

My plan was to app for the NFCU SSL, and if I could use that same HP, for the NFCU More Rewards AMEX, go with it. But the agent told me it would require a different HP. So, I decided to use my odds of that second HP to app for the Discover it CB with the 5% CB + all CB match at the end of the year, to which I was approved, YAY! Then I wanted to test my luck, and app'd for the AMEX Cash Magnet, but I was declined for that one.

So, 3 HPs in total, 2 aprovals, $10k in additional CL.

Now, all I have in front of me is to garden for the next 3 years, for my new car goal, and hunt for the elusive CLIs.

BTW, NFCU uses TU, and Disco I believe usually uses EX or EQ or a combo of the two. Do you know which apps pulled which bureaus?

I've never gone through a cred app spree before in my life. I was so nervous! 😂 But the ppl in this forum are awesome, and their input filled me with valor! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

I didn't know the agent who assisted me at the branch was the Branch Manager. I remember she told me they mostly use EQ, and don't used FICO but a diff scoring system... 😳

I had so many other questions that I didn't inquired more on it, to avoid forgetting them. 😔

The Amex decline letter showed EX summary.

Don't know about Disco. But I guess it was EX (my best FICO score at 797 atm), because it came back approved with an 11.99% APR.
