A Long Road to "Discover"...

My first post...had to share! I've literally been applying for a Discover Card for decades, checking prequals as well, all to no avail. I got creative and thought of a new approach: I opened a savings account with them several months ago with $1500. For the first time ever, I received an invitation to apply for the Discover it Miles in the mail today. After pondering over whether or not it would be a waste of a hard pull, I decided to go ahead and apply. After pressing submit, I received words of congratulations and an $8000 credit line.

I absolutely could not be more excited! It's been a long road to "Discover"; nothing like the sweet taste of victory!

Great job... I think the approach of getting in with them befoore applying is very helpful.

Congrats. Discover has always been my favorite card and issuer. Always easy to get someone helpful on the phone you can understand as well.
