Apple Card FINALLY!!!

Ok, I know if certain ppl see this, I'm gonna get chewed out. Rightfully so.

Since my rebuild started (4/2019), I've tried every couple weeks and I always got "Can't verify your info" message. I read a thread about applying when your trying to checkout from Apple.com with an item in bag. I just did it, and it said "verify I.D."!!! I never took my wallet out so fast. I uploaded both sides, and it came back approved!!! $1050 SL at 17.99%

What did I do??? I declined it. No HP, no foul. So it brought me back to my cart and I removed the item after seeing delivery wasn't until 12/16. So going back to wallet in my settings I seen "Continue application". I was under the impression, if you applied, you couldn't apply again for 30 days.

I hit continue (go ahead, lay into me). I'm supposed to be in the garden. For a while.

So I accepted, and waited for the onslaught of notifications of a hard pull since I have every CMS in the world. Nothing. Not a single ding, no hard pull, no nothing. Did I get lucky???

Congrats on your approval! As I have found, everything with GS...even the notification of a HP is slow. Some have reported getting a SP approval and then quickly locking/unlocking their report without a HP but since everything from/related them happens to report slow...it may just not have notified all the channels to get to you yet. If so...Congrats.

You still might get an HP ... GS/Apple is a bit slow .....

That said congratulations.. Been seeing more folks have a bit more luck with trying to app on checkout if they are a little more borderline on the approval...

Not sure its a pattern yet.....

I've been in the same boat trying monthly for the card in my rebuild and getting shot down each time. Now with the new iPhone on the horizon I really would like to take advantage of their offer rather than going through a phone carrier. Anyway. I just copied your trick and was approved for it as well!

Keeping my fingers crossed, nothing yet. It's only been two days, but then again it's a holiday weekend. No big deal if so, but would be nice if something went for us instead of against us for once.

Congratulations again on your Apple Card approval. I had a question if you don't mind. When you declined the offer and then removed the item from your cart and went in the wallet app to continue to the application, once you were approved did they give you the same credit limit and APR they initially offered you?

A couple of weeks ago I applied by adding an iPad to my cart on the Apple website and choosing the installment option. Once approved I saw the iPad wouldn't be here for a month plus but I applied anyway and was approved. Part of me wanted to remove the iPad but feared they'd also remove my approval so I took the offer. Now after seeing your post I really wonder if I could've gotten the same offer by doing what you did (of course you hadn't posted this yet when I applied so I had no idea this was possible).
