Congrats! They are awesome. My Paypal MC started with $1,000 and now it's $10K also.

This card will always have a special spot in my heart. They were the first to give me a chance in the credit world after rebuilding with a secured capital one card for 2 years. The starting limit was 10x my limit on the secured card, so I was very humbled!

Love this card, 2% is killer. I throw around $2-$5k a month on this card.

IMO this new design looks too much like the debit cash & debit business cards. Does your new card (or statement) actually have "World Mastercard" displayed? I went from 5.5->8->10k over a year ago and it's just plain old MC for me !

That's awesome, I'm looking forward to recieving the newly designed card. I've been stuck at 10k for 2 years, I'm wondering if anyone has above a 10k limit on that card, the reason is always, credit limit requested is higher than our policy allows, or something along those lines.

so the CLI button is back on the website but the computer outright denied by request and hit me with the 7-10 days reason. I know its crap as my credit is very good. I asked for the same CLI on my Synchrony Amazon card and was instantly approved. I wonder of I call their number they will review and approve the paypal CLI request

As the saying goes, you can't score if you don't shoot.

Why do you say that the denial is crap? Does your level of regular spend warrant a larger credit limit?

From an issuers perspective utilization padding is your concern, not theirs, and it's already well-known that Synchrony has been tightening things up the last several months including card closures as part of a cost reduction/risk mitigation effort.

Got my new card today! Very cheap plastic, but on the bright side.. with it being so thin.. I can cram an extra card into my wallet slot lol.

Did you get hit with a hard pull? I would like an increase on mine, but not if it requires a hard pull. Otherwise I'd rather save the hard pull for a CLI on my freedom flex

Its never a hard pull with synchrony cards, it was a soft pull so denials don't hurt so bad and no inquiries on your credit
