Last approval before I garden...Nordstrom Signature Visa

I had the store card for a few years and closed it with a balance when I was slimming down. Not sure why I did it, kind of stupid, but I paid it off after I closed it anyway. This is my favorite store and I missed the card, so I figured I'd apply again since it's TD bank and I had a similar situation with their Target card (had it in 2004-2007, closed when I was impacted by the recession, opened up another one in 2018).

Anyway, I apped for the Visa, because even if I were to get denied, they would consider me for a storecard, but luckily I got the Visa!

Kind of a low SL, but I'll take it! $1500. My card started off low (similar) and got up to $7500 within a year before I closed it. IIRC, I got an auto increase around month 7.

Pulled EXP, FICO 695. 5 inquires within the last year (2 within 6 months).

Useful story as well for those who might have second thoughts and would prefer to retry.

Congratulations on your approval. Can you confirm when you get the card that it was Signature and not Platinum? They offer both a Signature and a Platinum level Visa. I am curious to know if you got the Signature with a sub-$5,000 limit.

@CreditJourney007 Grats! I applied for this myself and they wanted my ID SS card and utility bill by MAIL. im like its 2020 I will not put my SS card in mail

I can verify once I get it! It wasn't instant since I have a fraud alert so I didn't *see* it specifically say Signature, but the rep said it was. She could have been mistaken though.
