NFCU Approval!!

This election has me so stressed that I decided to apply for the NFCU cash rewards card. (Sorta like retail therapy, credit app-style.) Anyhoo, I was approved with a $23,100 limit! I was shocked. They pulled Transunion. As far as which version FICO they used, I do not know. Now I've made up for the loss of my Comenity Wayfair CL ($17,250). I am now done with credit card applying.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the APR is 9.65%.

Can you share some data points please? Is this your first Navy card? Have you been a member long? Direct deposit? Do you have many other CL's similar to this SL?

I'm considering app'ing for my first Navy card...curious to know what I might get for a SL. Thanks in advance!

Sorry it took me this long to reply. Full disclosure, I teach and our system is hybrid. So, some of my students are in class, while others are remote. I've had to create a digital science notebook that I must constantly update.

Now to answer your questions. I've been a NFCU member for 2 years. I don't do direct deposit. I do have a checking account and a savings account with them. I deposit about $100 a month into my NFCU from my main bank account. I did apply and was approved for a car loan, however, I was offered a better deal by my dealer. Other than that, they went off my credit. They pulled only my Transunion Credit. My Transunion Fico 8 Bankcard score is 749. Somewhere I read on this forum that Navy uses your Transunion Fico 9 bankcard score. If that's the case, my Fico 9 bankcard score is 775.
