Finally got a CLI out of AMEX!

They have shot me down four times on my BCP (now BCE). Got the calendar reminder to ask last night and was sitting here and figured why not.

Card had a $2200 limit, asked for $5K. Instant approval. I am fine with a $5K limit so I don't regret potentially leaving $1600 on the table. I like having nice rounded limits.

EX 8 is 802, hadn't been carrying any credit card balances for a few months now. Card is my primary grocery card so it gets between $120-$180 a month but I don't use it for anything else. Also have my Cash Magnet at $3K so my total exposure with AMEX is $8K.

Thanks! I was starting to think that card wouldn't ever grow.

I have been around, just haven't been terribly social and since I haven't been spending or credit seeking, haven't had any news to share 😂

Hey thanks, @GApeachy!

I got the card a year and a month ago. My AF actually just hit so I downgraded it to the BCE the other day.

Cash Magnet I got 6/2019.

They let me triple my $1K limit before I even activated the Cash Magnet but they basically kept saying that I need more money to get an increase on the BCP so I didn't think it was gonna happen for awhile.
