AMEX Platinum Approved! 20% back, 10x, and 75k!

Decided to surf the web and checked my pre-qualified tab on the AMEX website, clicked on the platinum and it show pre-approved! I then remembered watching a video mentioning the Resy offer which adds 20% back on restaurants, plus the 10x on supermarkets/gas stations with 75k MR points.

Luckily I bookmarked that page, logged out of my AMEX account, and applied from the Resy link. BOOM! Approved as a soft pull! Can't wait to put this thing to work

Congrats! I took the same one last month and love it so far. Interesting note - I figured the 20% back on dining would post monthly along with MRs but my 20% posts a day or so after the charge posts. Been seeing MRs steadily added as well throughout the month. My Gold posts MRs after the payment is made so I was surprised.

@Anonymous are the MR points based on before or after the 20%? I think I'll also call for clarification on the spend requirement regarding the 20% as well. Ill assume the worst though

I'll have to look and see regarding the MRs - I honestly hadn't thought about that. As for the discount requirement, I've found that every place I've used the card that codes as food service is giving the 20% back.

Congratulations! Every time I try the preapproval link it has me log in and I see cards but how do you know if you are preapproved without apr or limits? Or maybe I just don't have any right now.
