Venmo VS - BIG approval!

I guess Sync missed me. After they purged about $90k worth of my credit, I figured I wouldn't go back without good reason. Well, I received a SUB offer for the Venmo CC...$150 for $1k spend in the first 180 days. Easy money. So I applied and got a HUGE approval.

The $30K CL is my largest SL ever. And I even got the Tier 1 APR, to my surprise. I guess Sync didn't hold too much of a grudge.

Just a thought, perhaps the $90k purge lowering your exposure with Synchrony made room for that big SL.

Thank you! And oooh boy...uh... before this card, I had 2/5/8 new accounts in the past 6/12/24 months. Wayfair was pretty new when they ended their program with Comenity. My Rakuten was also very new when Sync closed all of my accounts in August.

I think so. Sync saw I had a good profile and no Sync exposure, so they went for it. I probably won't need to ask for any CLIs on this one.

Congrats. I don't think I've ever seen a SL that big from sync. When they sent me a sub offer, it was only $50 on $500 in 90.

Yes, I received an offer by email. If I applied by January 15, I'd get $150 for spending $1K in the first 180 days from account opening. Even with a modest spend, that shouldn't be an issue.
