Apple Finally Gave Me A CLI!

Hey Forum Fam,

I was part of the pre-release invites, so I've had Apple Card 16 months now. Started with a decent $6.5k for my income.

I put some good use for about 6 months, but then maximized on better rewards. This card now gets used for the rare Apple Store product, Walgreens, Uber Eats occasionally. Also for its best use, funding bank accounts without CA fees.

I honestly stopped wasting time on CLI request. Others were getting with less spend, so assumed it was my income. I've never had more than 3% aggregate utilization across cards, and FICO 9 score has increased.

Tried for CLI request last night in iMessages. Apple graced me with a whopping $500, bringing limit to $7k. YAY me!!

TU FICO 9 is 790. 2 inquiries and 2% utilization.

Very nice. I can't believe this card has been around that long. Seems like it was just released. Congrats on finally getting an increase!

It's clearly not going to be one of my highest limits, but they are staying middle of the road with my other lenders.

I chose not to get iPhone 12, so maybe a better CLI on new phone purchase. Although, I have the Verizon Card, so some contemplation on that decision.
