USB Altitude Reserve CLI

Requested a CLI this past weekend hoping to score a SP increase like so many people seem to get from USB, but not only did I get dinged on TU right away, the app went pending too.

Instantly, I regretted the online request. In the past, I've called USB underwriting and asked for a specific amount for consideration, but it was the weekend. I called Monday morning to see if they could add an amount to my request, but I was told that wouldn't be possible unless I'd like to withdraw the app, and submit a new one, which would require another HP. No thank you.

FF to today, I logged in to check my transactions, and noticed an increase in my available credit. They added $20k to my CL, so now I'm at $60k on my AR. I was planning to ask for $100k, but that doesn't mean I would've got it. I just think that it gives some guidance as to what you're looking for during the review.

Additional DPs:

TU8 score about 820-ish. I think they use Fico 9, but I'm not sure and don't know that score either.

Very heavy spend on card due to biz expenses.

Last CLI request was about a year ago in Dec 2019. Went from $25k to $40k (Requested $50k).

6/24 personal plus 5/24 business. 7 INQs.

Most importantly, not a fan of the card redesign

$20K was worth the HP for sure.

I don't want this to get moved to Smorgasboard...but I agree. Not a fan of "portrait-style" cards either.

That is a nice increase!! Congrats. And like some others mentioned upthread, I agree that for the HP, I do think the +20k made it worth it. But I do get what you were saying.

As for myself lol, I know for sure there are a few cards I have right now that I would sacrifice the HP for asap, if I know they would give me 20k

Thanks bud. I'm not sure about the highest limits on the AR, but this is one of the few cards I have that I can say the limit is justified, and I could actually use some more.

USB has been pretty generous with me, so I hope it'll continue to grow with time.

Thanks! I too agree that $20k was well worth the HP. I've taken many HPs for much less or nothing, but I could've gone about it a little bit differently even if the result might've been the same.

Thanks. Definitely happy about the growth. Especially because it started at $5k after a double recon. Almost never happened.
