Chase sapphire 14 day message? - Approved!

So checked my experien today it's 745 fico 8 ...3 inqs...no active baddies ...I applied for chase sapphire and It said we will let you know soon...so I called the phone number to check status and it said we received ur app ...we will let you kno in writing in 14 days ...now does that mean I got denial coming my way ?

total accounts is 6-7 all are in good shape

Called recon line ...they confirmed my phone number sent code thru text ...but said i need to lift my fraud alert on experien (which I did but guessing it hasn't been 24hrs since app)...rep also told me to speed things up go into branch and call chase customer service rep back to verify identity so I'm guesssing once I do that I should be approved ?i don't think they will go thru all this work for a denial ...what you guys think ???

Update :Went into chase branch ...verified my identity using DL ...rep stated I've been approved with an 8400 SL 💪🏾 Card should arrive in 1-2 weeks ...so excited...btw they pulled my Experian which was 745!

@Anonymous Congratulations on the approval! That is a great starting limit.

I enjoyed reading through your posts. Sorry no one responded fast enough. I wonder how much anxiety Chase has caused with the initial 7-14 day automated response?

As you can see in your case, there may be an additional need for verification or some other hold up that is not related to a denial.

Thanks again for sharing. One question, are you referring to the CSP or CSR?
