NFCU keeps on giving!

So I had some app itch last night and instead of leaving the garden 3 months early and throwing away 9 months, I decided to just ask NFCU for an increase on my Platinum.

Got woken up this morning by the roommate doing stuff in the garage and checked my account and they gave me a $4K increase!

This brings my TCL up to $99,400 and officially gives me my first card that exceeds my income in limit. Hoping I can get to that $25K mark.

I would say my itch is scratched but that $600 is going to irk me lol.

Jealous, to say the least. Yeah I'm pretty OCD that $600 would drive me crazy.

Regardless, congratulations on the CLI even if it meant leaving the garden a wee bit early! Seems like it was worth it, though

Thanks! I'm still gardening though since NFCU doesn't do HPs for CLIs. That's why I chose to ask them rather than apply for US Bank

And yeah that $600 is really bothering me. I don't have any SP CLIs available to fill that for the moment lol.

Yeah the 830 EQ9 definitely makes NFCU happy.

So my plans are to go for Cash+ in April and Freedom Flex in October but I still have some x/24 slots to fill (if I get no cards this year I'll be 0/24 next April but I'll be down to 2/24 in October if I get the Cash+) so I might look for some easy $500-$1K spend SUBs along the way.

The thing is that I'm very much locked in savings mode right now so I don't have much need for new credit beyond just collecting. It feels nice to be able to say that though.

Thank you! It's strange seeing my TU9 is at 815 according to Goldman Sachs today while my EQ9 is at 830. That's a pretty decent gap considering how close my 8s are.

Man you should just go the whole enchilada for 0/24. You need a cc like i need another one myself. It must be great to be debt free, ill never see 730 again in my lifetime but that the way the cookie crumbles . Enjoy your boss limit!

You and I both know that the seeking never ends lol. I am amazed I have held out for 9 months but 24 is definitely not gonna happen haha.

You will get there man. It may not seem like it now but you'll find your way out.

Very impressive to even be getting a "sniff" at 0/24. I think I am heading into a nice garden stint myself. Have just run out of banks to go after with the resources I have. Currently want to say 16/24 so you know it's going to be a long haul! 😆😂 But I will be looking forward to your sucess to get me through. 😉 Saving and being free of debts is far better and much rewardable. Congrats!!
