Double approval by Chase!!

Well, I took the plunge and applied and got approved for the Marriott as I had hoped! Good 5k limit. Then I was looking at their Sapphire card and liked the benefits so I took another leap of faith. I got the pending response and called this morning, after 3 minutes I was again approved for 5k!!!

Not bad, 10k in credit in 24 hours.

Now that I am going through the dreaded Amex FR, I now have a fall back incase Amex tries to make me jump through more hoops or cuts my CL. I don't deal with people who leave me high and dry and say "it's not our problem."

Both of these Chase cards are primaries in my wallet. They have stolen biz from Amex... So they are great!!!!! You will love them, esp the bonuses.. I got the 40k point bonus on CSP and the 70k bonus points on Marriot PR (black metal one!)

Congrats! Nice cards with good starting limits. Do you know if they used the same pull(s) for both apps?

Did you apply for both on the same day? If so, was it just one HP, or two?

Congrats on the new cards those are two good ones!! For all thats tryed to App Chase and gotten denied now is the time!!! Last month I apped for the Chase Freedom and was flatout denied! Well this month maybe because of Christmas I said Im gonna try them again,Idont know maybe im a pain freak.Lol Well I put in three apps in 5 days and they approved all 3!!!!! Chase Freedom 3500,Slate 3500 and tried them for a hat trick with the Amazon Rewards Visa 2000 !I I havent received any cards yet and have $9000 in credit! And talk about really pushing my luck as I said earlier Im a pain freak,I called recon and said that I didnt want the Slate (Horrible rewards) and if they could transfer the 3500 all to the Freedom and she said "Of Course"! Now thats not to shabby for someone who was treated like bald headed step child less a month ago! Im telling you now is the time.Go for it!

I was denied the Slate after the Freedom approval. "Too many request/accounts with us" was the reason.
