DW Apple Card Approval

My wife isn't all that big on credit cards, she has a Discover that she had from before we met, and since we have been together she did the Nordstrom store card and she has an old Apple Barclay's card that was used for 0% financing before the Apple Card, the old Barclay's card will probably get closed for non-use (and no biggy, Disco is her oldest account). She is AU on a few of my cards but overall she isn't really big on credit, she used to use her debit card for most everything. Her profile has some baddies from before we were married, it will be a couple more years before her reports are clean. The baddies have her TU8 at 670. Since Apple Card is an SP and she hasn't applied for anything in a couple of years but she does use Apple Pay a lot so I figured the Apple Card would be a good choice for her.

Approved for $3500 at the crazy 21.99% APR. We got that out of the way, I think I will try to practice what I advise others this year and see if we can do some goodwill letters to clear up her baddies this year and now we are both in the garden.

Congrats to DW on the new Apple card, @sxa001!

I've been using mine more lately before I ask for a CLI and finding that Apple Pay is more widely accepted than I thought it was. I've even swiped that 1% Titanium card and I have to admit it's a pretty cool card. (I just wish they gave a better base payout!)

I live in Florida where Publix is a major grocerer. Ever since Publix upgraded their payment systems last March, I charge about $400 monthly. This is my grocery/Publix card until I get the BCP.

I am an an android guy, so I won't be an AU on this card (if that is even possible?). But yes with the number of places that take Apple Pay these days it will be good, less 1% swipes on her Disco

It probably isn't worth your while but I believe you can be an AU as far as the physical card goes. Getting the 2% with Apple Pay woudn't be available to you.
