Wells Fargo Propel still showing love 3K increase total cl 23K.

Ok today I called Wells fargo credit department at 866 412 5957 for credit increase. Spent total of 5 minutes on the phone with nice crs who was working from home with slow internet that why it took so long to get an answer and for here to put info into the system. Here are the data points the last credit increase was back in November,9 of 2020 at that time got increase 2K to bring credit line at that time to 20K. Ttoday ask for credit increase of 3K which is 15% increase which makes the total limit on this card 23K, in the last 2 months put about fifty dollars per month spend on the card income 85K ul on all card is then .2% on total credit limits is about 229K, with out standing total balances of 800 dollars. It does not look like that Wells Fargo cares that you are not using much of credit line. Also My Fico scores are around 804 for all cV's, My experian Fico score 9 shown by WF is 816. It looks like if you have good fico scores then Wells Fargo will approve increase even thoe your not spending hell out of card. It may be time for others to try there hand at cli's from Wells Fargo.

Last time I called for a CLI from WF was back in July and it went from $5K SL to $6300 with a $1300 increase.

Haven't used it much since - been pondering trying for another CLI - I just wish WF would enter the 2020's and make it via a link online instead of having to call.

Congrats on the CLI and thank you for the supporting data. I agree that if your spend was roughly $50/mo that WF doesn't seem to care about tons of use!

Yes what is interesting is in this billing cycle the only charges where my Metro pc charge which is auto charge of 40 dollars per month and 6 dollar charge at coffee shop, and before that Metro was only charge for past couple of months. I don't know how far they go back to take into account how much you spend. The last time I put couple hundred dollars of spen was about 9 months ago. It looks like to me that Wells Fargo interested in that you have good credit, I don't have any other accounts with them.

Sounds like a fair assessment to me. I would then put them in the category of lenders like Amex & Discover that allow you to grow your limit with little to no use as opposed to those like Chase & Capital One that require heavy use for decent CLI potential.
