US Bank Cash+ Approval with Thin Credit File (DP)

I was just approved instantly for US Bank Cash+ with a $5000 credit limit! They pulled TransUnion, which luckily most of my cards didn’t pull. Also I was under 3/12 when I applied, which is rare for US Bank to instantly approve.

Stats when I applied:

Current cards: (list cards, limits, opening date)
BOFA Cash Rewards (with 3% back on online shopping), $1000 credit limit, opened 08/23
Discover IT, $500 credit limit, opened 08/23
Chase Freedom Flex, $1500 credit limit, opened 02/08
FICO Score: TU - 720
Credit Utilization: 3%
Oldest account age: roughly 8 months
Hard Pulls: 1 - luckily only BOFA pulled from TransUnion in the past.
I own a checking account with BOFA (2 years), Chase (4 months), and US Bank (3 weeks).
Income: 28k (I’m an 18 year old high school senior.)

Wow, that's awesome! Thanks for the info, too. Maybe this points to them starting to loosen up their 1/12 policy. Hopefully we see others slip through with more than 1 new account too!

Approval from US bank with accounts 3/12 !!!! That's called- defying all data-points or defying the odds...that's why we call- YMMV...
