Fidelity (FIDO) Rewards Visa Signature - $23k SL Approval + GEMS

Instantly Approved for $23,000 SL @ 13.99% (FELL BACK IN MY CHAIR)
Location: West Coast
EX FICO 8 750(s)
EX HP (U.S. Bank used the same report, so I was expecting this)

Brokerage Account(s): Yes, I just moved my full-time one-stop-shop financial house from Charles to FIDO. I still have Charles for the AMEX Platinum "invest with rewards" tax-free backdoor into my Roth IRA.
U.S Bank Accounts: Yes, two (1) personal CC and (1) business CC
SUB: Yes - Receive 15,000 Bonus Points—which equals $150 cashback, when deposited into an eligible Fidelity account—after you make at least $1,500 in eligible net purchases within the first 90 days of account opening.

I found it strange when I was instantly approved; it gave me the option to "approve" or "deny" the offer. After the EX HP notification, so Idk why someone would deny their offer after taking the HP. I just wanted to give insight into that little caveat.

Also, I confirmed via Elan representatives that you could indeed use the expired SUB link: https://www.fidelity.com/go/visa-signature-rewards-1502 and will be eligible for the SUB even though the date is expired. Obviously, YEMV, but in the worst-case scenario, you use the link and get the SUB! A little trick, Elan/FIDO changes the URL link by one digit so if you choose 1501, you get the "older" SUB, and if they change it in the future, it most likely will become 1503. Depending on how popular this thread becomes, they might change the URL address assigned, but for now, good luck!

Additionally, Elan's automated application status number is 800.364.9648. I called because I couldn't believe the $23k SL out-the-gate!! I still haven't received any formal email or notification of the card being shipped. I'll be looking out for this in the coming days!

Proof:

04/29/21 Update: Received email from Fidelity, not Elan congratulating me on my 23k approval. The card is now showing inside my mobile app and desktop.
05/07/21 Update: I received the Credit Card & this will be my last update on this thread.

@Aim_High Thanks! It was a debate between this and the PenFed PCR. Then I said, why not BOTH! So I'm mentally preparing for the PenFed application later today. My PenFed Gold card recently reached 6/months, and I'm thinking, why would I take an HP for a CLI when I could get a whole new card...

Absolutely! They're both good cards and having diversity is always wise! While I'm partial to the PF PCRs, I also seriously considered the Fidelity card also.

Also, if you have enough (professionally-managed) assets with Fidelity, you can qualify for the Fidelity Rewards+ program which enhances the rewards rate to 2.25%, 2.50% or 3.00%.

Yeah, I'm seriously considering applying for the PF PCR in a couple of hours and shooting my shot there too. $23k SL is hyping me up!!

Thanks for the tip; I personally don't have any of my accounts (professionally managed) as a big JLC/Jack Bogle fan. So it's pretty much VTI/VXUS/BND till I retire/die. Boring stuff! Now there is always a chance FIDO does something similar to BOFA; I would even be okay with the current portfolio allocation "limits."

Im sure someone would deny based off their sl. Not many would accept a 23k sl, especially when one could easily apply for a DC and get $1200.
