Did the prequal on the website and got this (see screenshot). Then a 7-10 day. I thought "Ahhhhh crap." But, after reading it looks like they are doing a lot of verification. I called their customer solutions line and asked to check the status of my app. They had me go to a verification page and take a selfie / DL picture of front and back. One key point, the rep asked me if I would like her to stay on the phone...definitely keep them on the phone as the process is fast and some parts of the app are buggy and they can walk you through. I got a password and then transferred to someone pretty professional and they verified name and other stuff and then gave me the "Congrats!" Only got $500, but I heard GREAT things about getting that bumped up in-store as I need a new washer.

DP: EX/EQ/TU FICO about 690 across the board. BK 7 4.5 years ago with some lates 2 years ago. 2% util across the board.

Congrats on your approval. Yeah, with a phone call or two you should be able to grow the card pretty quickly to get a limit big enough for your new washer without affecting utilization too much

The surprise to me is the verification needed to get the approval. Is this a recent thing with Synchrony? Admittedly out of the loop with this if that's the case

You all weren't kidding. I was approved for $500 a few minutes ago. Called the "Overseas" number I've seen listed (8773738173). I requested $10,000 and they countered back with $5,000. I'll take that. Thanks!

First let me say congrats to you!!! I am soo thankful I decided to search this out because I applied yesterday and received the same info. I did not get an email confirmation just a message about review 7-10. I called customer care and they said it was on hold....sure enough they wanted the verification piece done...I made her stay on the line as her kids were screaming in the background she wanted me to call back....nope....all in all....got my "congrats" with $1000 credit line!! Hoping to get that increased!! Thank you for the post!!!!
