I read here, about how easy it was to sign up and be approved for Langley FCU membership so I applied. One week later I get my "denied membership" email. I was pretty disappointed by that so I called in to find out why. Turns out you have to use the address of your house and not the apartment you just got (on a year long project) in VA. Who knew!!

Walked into a branch and had that sorted out. Took minutes and came out with:

Langley FCU Platinum Select Visa with SL of $12k @ 7% APR

Langley FCU Signature CashBack Visa with SL of 10k @ 11% APR

Bonus: Refinanced my Tesla Model S at 2% (Sweeeet)

I gotta say, my experience with Langley has been amazing so far. Customer service is local and a delight to work with. I am very glad I joined and would encourage anyone looking for a low frills, easy to work with CU, to check them out. I think I have found my sweet combination. Navy, Langley and Band of America (for their global reach and Merrill).

Called them yesterday about the Sig Cash card concerning the CUrewards points value and they didn't know . A point may or may not be at least a penny.

Very nice, 2 off the bat. Your income definetly helped get 2 cards . I was told i only qualify for one and ah, yeah after seeing my paycheck , lol, im sure the UWs had great convos haha. Enjoy. Til this day my weirdest limit...$7813😁
