AmEx 3x CLI ~ Success!!!

babygirl1256 — Tue, 08 Jun 2021 06:48:39 GMT

I'm doing the Happy Dance right now . . . CL from $5,000 to $15,000!!! I just can't thank y’all (in my Southern voice) enough . . . Without this forum I would have never known about the 3x CLI. I am so happy that I found this forum and started my credit rebuild. Thanks AmEx . . . so glad to be a part of the family!

Congrats on the CLI! I'm hoping to do the same in a few months. How long did you wait to request the increase?

@Anonymous Thank you so much . . . I hit the luv button exactly 61 days -and- I was very nervous and didn't think it would be approved . . . I'm so grateful for this forum's guidance and support!!! Wishing you success on your CLI request.

@AllZero, @CreditAggie, @ethan17debttackler, @Ficoproblems247, @gdale6, @Golf-and-Credit, @KingRue8500, @M_Smart007, @Anonymous, @mrcraft -and- all kudos . . . My sincere thanks everyone for responding as I certainly appreciate the continued guidance and information posted on this forum. I'm new to the AmEx family (approved 3/2021) and I really would like the AmEx Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant for travel purposes -but- I don't want another hard pull on my credit. So . . . I think I will just garden until I receive a special invitation from AmEx and/or wait to develop a longer relationship with them. Thanks again!!!

To my understanding theres no initial hard pull for existing Amex cardholders. So you should be able to apply for your next Amex card without getting a hard pull.

There are members here who can confirm from personal experience that your understanding is incorrect. They usually don't, but it isn't rare that they do, and it isn't an indicator of having a weak profile.
