Wells Fargo CashWise Cold App - Approved!!!

I was just approved for a Wells Fargo CashWise card with a $4k CL with 0% APR for BT and Purchases for the next 15 months. It also has a SUB, which is $150 for a $500 spend in the first 90 days. It was a HP approval and they pulled EX @ 719.

I believe the APR is %14.49 after the promo ends which is the lowest offered for this card. I don't know if they do APR reductions after approval. If anyone has any data points on this it would help.

I finally feel like I'm making some progress. I used to only see 25 percent or 20 percent APR offers. Now, they range from %10 to %17 which is still high but shows I've made some progress!!!

Does anyone know how long I have to wait before requesting a CLI?

@FinStar I've heard they're very conservative. I didn't think they'd approve me... I was pretty happy. I appreciate the info and will keep that in mind.

Do they offer APR reductions below the advertised ranges for their cards? This is my first time doing business with WF.

They can be fairly conservative depending on the profile. They've been known to dole out some fairly decent SLs, but again it depends on a variety of factors. I have this card and it's a fairly decent product.

Unfortunately, no APR reductions. Whatever the account gets assigned is pretty much what it is. That said, they tend to offer targeted 0% (or low APR) intro purchase promotions from time to time and BT promotions as well.

Nice job. Nice apr and Sub fyi a 10% apr is really good not high in grand scheme of things in credit

@Harvey26 I don't which is why I had to do a double take when I was approved. Wells Fargo gave me an even lower rate of 14.49 on the Cash Wise Visa(lowest advertised). I wonder if it's just downward momentum? I heard banks are loosening standards. I'm so used to seeing these 20 percent+ APR's.
