'Member how I said I might be back here soon?😬 I dug around for awhile and checked my bucket list of cards to app for. Now, "X, I sez to myself, FNBO was supposed to be tough (DM got denied with 811 F9, no derogs) what can I find that's supposedly nearly as conservative?" I was paying some bills and checking balances in my accounts and thought 'hey, yeah, that's right, these guys have a credit card, don't they?' Turns out they had halted new apps for a while (Santander) and had since reopened for new apps. So, DP's: Santander Ultimate MC, 3% back on first 20K spent, 14.69% APR, 7.5K limit. 0% APR for 12 billing cycles. EX 730 pulled, unknown if F8 or F9.

Congratulations on the new card. Not sure why DM was denied FNBO with an 811 FICO - looks like FNBO is very selective.

These guys were baught by First Bank PR. Applying for credit cards here is like applying in the 1st Century lol. Enjoy, good luck in dealing with Santander, hope it runs smoothly 😀

@AverageJoesCredit 1stBankPR is my oldest credit line. Opened it as a snot nosed teenager in the Virgin Islands! I thought they only purchased SantanderPR's assets? Did they also purchase their mainland assets?

Yeah not sure, just saw they baught Santander while in the mall one day lol. Good to know maybe just local. Lol i was approved TWICE for a First Bank cc but giving them what they wanted to give it to me was ridiculous 🙃 when you have 30+ ccs, jumping hoops is not needed. I needed another cc like a third eye
