The UNTHINKABLE just happened with BBVA!!

So 6 months ago I got the clear points snd rewards card with BBVA so of course being curious I hit the pre qualify button in the app, to my surprise they pre qualified me for a 2nd clear points 7500 limit lowest interest rate of course I hit apply now and waaahh lahhh approved! So like a my fico curious George I hit the button again! Says pre qualified for the rewards! Hit apply now and waahhh lab approved again for 7500!! So now 4 cards total with BBVA, oldest account almost 4 years 30 Inquiries Experian over 22 accounts added last 2 years

Congratulations on the new accounts with BBVA. You're making me want to apply for a checking and savings account with BBVA so I may apply for several of their credit cards. I'm thinking about it. 😊 Can you provide some DP's please?

haha I know right! A year ago I opened a checking when they were doing the bonus for deposits, never used it after I got the bonus,took about 6 months for the option to prequalify for their cards in the app, approved for both, then approved for 2 more so seems 6 months is a threshold for them, don't seem to be new accounts or inquiry sensitive obviously cuz I have a boatload of new credit lol hope that helps CarolynArt

Oh and also got a 15k personal loan from them 6 months ago as well but paid it all back last month so not sure if that helped but another data point cheers all

That's not needed. I don't have a checking or savings with them but I have 2 credit cards with them.

You must be lucky because before I went on my app spree this Jan I was approved for a card (already have two cards with them) but then after my app spree a month later I wasn't approved.
