US Bank Cash+ Approval

Instant approval for $6,000 with an APR of 16.99%. They pulled TU, last I knew my F9 scores were around the 770ish range. New accounts are 0/6,0/12, 6/24. 3 inq on TU, util is $92/$73,000. I'm VERY excited for this one, as it is the real reason for spending a full year in the garden. My strategy for USB will be to wait 3 months and then app Altitude GO, immediately followed by Elan MCP. Hopefully that will yield favorable results once the time is right! If anyone wants any other DPs, please ask! Thank you to everyone for sharing all of your DPs on this card, and always being willing to answer all of my questions along the way!

Thank you! Yes, you may pick two different 5% cash back categories per each quarter. Utilities is one of the choices on that list.

Fantastic. It's back in the garden for me then. This is quite the incentive. My winter utility bills are outrageous. I've been happy with 3% from Propel on propane (which is delivered by a fuel company that codes as gasoline) and this card would be super for my electric bill.

Thanks! Yeah I was thinking about it the whole time I was filling it out that I REALLY was hoping not to have to wait. This is my first relationship with them, and then no apps for a year, so I was kind of assuming I'd be ok. I'm hoping they hit me with 6k on the Alt GO and 6k on a MCP in 3 months. Part of me wanted to shotgun all 3 after the insta-approval but I know better lol.

Thank you! I've seen others post approval screen shots from USB and Elan and they all say that for the BT. Totally bizarre.

Seems to me they probably just hard-coded a maximum value. Although $10 million is quite the high number to set it as, probably would've been better to set it to a variable amount which is the same as the Maximum Transfer allowed.
