MERRICK BANK VISA CARD APPROVED!!

I received a preapproved letter in the mail for the merrick bank Visa card. The card doesn't have a annual fee or any other fees. I couldn't resist so I applied and got approved for a 1k credit line and in 7 months will be bumped to 2k. The interest rate is 25% but I don't plan on carrying a balance. My mission lane just hit a year mark and charged me the annual fee so I'll be trying to get that fee reversed and close the account. My largest credit line to date is my secu visa at 3k@ 7.75%. Back to the garden I go.

I've been a lurker on this forum for many years, and signed up for an account a few months ago. I decided to chime in on Merrick. I got them when I was rebuilding, and received an offer much like yours. The credit line increased regularly and maxed out at $5,000 and the apr kept reducing. Even though I have prime cards now, I kept my Merrick card for age and don't regret it. I use it occasionally and I have never had a high fee, or any issues with the card. I think it's a great next step on your credit repair journey. Congratulations.

I'd like to +1 this. I topped out at $2700, but I've just closed mine.

However, no crazy fees, regular APR drops, and decent customer service make this a pretty good card for rebuilders.

Merrick is one of the best subprime banks.

I never had and issues or fees.
