Alaska Air!

Bizambish — Thu, 17 Jun 2021 11:24:14 GMT

Twice in one week now I've landed a big fish that I never thought I would get. Gardening during Covid has definitely paid off for me.

Ironically, I just got back from a trip to Alaska and I had a mailer with a "pre selected" offer for the Alaska Airlines Visa signature card. BofA has not been friendly to me ever since I had a default with them when I was a kid and had to pay it off through collections, but it was the second mailer for a BoA product I received in as many weeks and I was feeling my oats after my last approval so I decided to give it a whirl. Figured the worst that could happen was I waste a HP on Exp.
To my surprise: instant approval!

9.5 K SL

0% interest for 12 months

40,000 Mile SuB for 2K spend

Alaska Air companion fare for SUB and every card member anniversary

Being from Alaska originally, and for the fact they now fly in to my little Florida town, this is definitely a dream card; they also have great airline benefits and transfer partners. So that's two cards in one week that I never thought I would get. Asked them to expedite the card as I have to go back to Alaska next month.
now it's back to the garden I go! You can see below I've already replaced my platinum spade with a new seedling ☺️

They're great. Grew up using them for everything for the most part.

Was recently approved also. This card is great. The benefits can't be beat. The $99 companion pass will show up when you hit the SUB. Be sure to sign up for the Mileage Dining Program and the Alaska shopping portal. If you stay at Marriotts you can also transfer Bonvoy points to Alaska miles.

it's really a great card. Congratulations

Thanks! Great tips. It really is great for only a $75 AF. If I remember correctly you can bank the companion fares too, right?
