User Requested Discover CLI with Under 12 Months

I wanted to report that I requested and was approved a $1000 CLI increase (SP) with under a year of discover card ownership and credit history.

Original CL: $500

New CL: $1500

This breaks the hard rule that I thought was true originally - ever since the pandemic started CLIs only could be approved at the 1 year mark of the card history. I knew auto-CLIs were a thing, but user requested.

I wasn't sure to put this in applications or approvals, so I put it in both. Mods feel free to change.

Current cards: (list cards, limits, opening date)
BOFA Cash Rewards (with 3% back on online shopping), $1000 credit limit, opened 08/23/20
Discover IT, now $1500 credit limit, opened 08/23/20
Chase Freedom Flex, $1500 credit limit, opened 02/08/21
Chase Freedom Unlimited, $1500 credit limit,
Opened 04/13/21
US Bank Cash+, $5000 credit limit,
Opened 04/08/21
FICO Score: TU - 720
Credit Utilization: 4%
Oldest account age: roughly 9 months
Hard Pulls: 3 (TU)
Income: 28k (I’m an 18 year old high school senior.)

Very nice. So it appears that Discover maybe walking back from it's Covid era 12 month old account age for CLI....

Like a few others said, they could be loosening up that rule now.

You look like you're great shape for being eighteen, I was in the exact opposite position at that age lol.

Congratulations! Thank you as well!!! I smashed the button and got love too! I've only had the card since September 1st 2020! I think the covid era discover is done and the old discover is back!
