PNC Cash Rewards SP CLI $10,500 >>> $15,500!

Like clockwork, I hit another 6 month mark since my last CLI and PNC gave me a $5K CLI. It's been a good 2 weeks as I've hauled in $14K worth of SP CLIs from AMEX, NFCU, and PNC.

I wish they all were so reliable (👀 @ you Ms Disco! 😂😂)

No doubt! I've been getting some nice 5 - 10% offers on gas and dining lately also. That stacks on top of the 4% for gas and 3% for dining that's already on the card, so it makes for a really nice month of cashback when they do that!

They had 5 guys and Zaxby's last month, along with another 5% Chevron offer. This is our de facto gas station card at 4% already, so it works out well.

These 2 gas offers will net $11.50 in cash back for filling up my truck twice. I'll take 11.5%+ cashback everytime!

Wow.....I didn't realize PNC had targetted offers like that. Yeah, I may have to pair this up with my Ducks Unlimited as an alternate gas card. Those are some nice perks.

@Taurus22 Yeah, it's a very solid card. The targeted offers have gotten better over time. I think maybe they have algorithms that learn your spending habits over time.

No, I just have the one card with them, but I guess I will have another one shortly since they bought BBVA. I'm not sure how they'll handle that. Hopefully they'll keep the rewards structure on the ClearPoints card the same.

I was approved in Dec of 2019 on this card. It was the last of 5 card spree, so my SL was only $5K. I was 5/6, and 7/12 on EX inquiries when I got it, but only 2 of the new accounts were reporting at the time, so they aren't too terribly INQ sensitive, or at least they weren't back then.

On the Custom Cash, I got smacked down on it this week, so tread lightly if you have new accounts. You can see my DPs on it on the big Custom Cash thread in the Credit Cards forum.

@JNA1 Luckily, I'm 0/12 and 1/24 right now. I'm due for a couple new additions, so that's good to know about PNC being non-sensitive. That way I can try for the Custom Cash, then follow up with PNC. I think that might be my game-plan. Once I get everything in order, I'll be posting to let you guys know how it goes. Thanks for the PNC insight and congrats again on the awesome CLI! Hopefully they will be as generous with me.
